Travel Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Intensive Care Unit

Additional Details:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

RNs Only - All RNs are required to complete a Cardiac Exam during onboarding. RNs are allowed two attempts and must achieve a minimum score of 80% to pass prior to clearance. ICU and ED RNs will also be required to take an on-site test in addition to the online pre-test.

CSU/CSICU (Cardiac Surgical ICU).

Weekends Every Other.

Holidays as required.

Holidays Every.

Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals. Will accept 36 or 48 hours per week.

Guaranteed Hours (24/36/40): 36.

Our Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit (CSICU) directs its resources principally towards the care of adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, thoracic, vascular and other surgical conditions requiring critical care located on 4 North.

Nurses must exhibit high levels of professional competency.

Education - Required Associated degree in nursing.

Certifications – Required AHA or RED CROSS .

Preferred: AHA PALS – if working in pediatric unit.

NURSYS

Experience - Required: • 2 years experience; however, will consider 18 months of experience, working under the highest level of professional license, and must have 1 year of experience in the field of specialty.

Scrub Colors/Dress Code: Solid Navy.

Float Cost Center: Must be willing to float to units/hospitals.
