Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Emergency Department experience within the past 3 years.

BSN completion required

1 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required from any number of months

3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

For units that auto offer : A maximum of 5 days RTO and no holidays will be approved automatically. RTO over 5 days and holiday requests will have to be reviewed by the facility, which will delay the process.

Required Skills/Experience: Critical care experience that can care for VADs, ECMO and Alines -Unit: ER. Cornell requires experience at a large academic setting (teaching hospital).

Shift & Scheduling: On Call: No. Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.

Start Dates: Weekly start dates 4-6 weeks on average needed to complete compliance

Floating Requirements: Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement. Float requirement: Yes to areas within acuity. Willingness to Float to Units Appropriate for Skillset.
