Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Intermediate Care Unit experience.
BSN completion preferred
Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license

Required Skills: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, Cardiovascular, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Endocrine/Metabolic, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Phlebotomy, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Care of Ventilated Patient, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Non-invasive airway management, Tracheostomy care/management, Isolation Precautions, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Feeding tube care and management, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident)

Preferred Skills / Experience: PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Post Cardiac Angiogram, TR Band, IV insulin protocols, Accessing/Managing Ports, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, Wound Care/Wound Vac

Required Credentials: Candidate must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms

Unit / Facility Details: Proof of Identification: Drivers License/State ID

Special Requests: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend

Pre-Approved Time Off: 1 Request

Floating Requirement: Float to ICU and Med Surg as needed
