On-call required: Yes Weekdays: 1 overnight every 4 nights from 1500-0630; 1 weekend every 4 weekends from Friday 1500-Monday 0630

Patient Diagnoses: General surgery, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Ophthalmology

Special Procedures/Unit Details: Preferred instrument/tray reprocessing: General, OB/GYN, Ophthalmology, laparoscopic, ortho/totals colonoscopes, EGD Scopes, flex sigmoidoscopes

Required: Bovie, laparoscopic equipment, arthroscopic equipment, tourniquet, Steam autoclave, High level disinfection Steris 1E, Washer/disinfector, Ultrasonic

RTO must be listed at time of submission.

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. This can include Charge RNs and Leads.

Return Providence Staff must wait 3 months before submitting as traveler

BLS must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation ONLY.
