Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Operating Room experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.

Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license

BLS (Required)

Vaccinations

Flu vaccination required. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Must take full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society and Marshfield Clinic Health System location as well. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Experience with General surgical cases, GYN, Urology, laparoscopic.

• Neuro/Ortho procedures, experience with navigation.

• Large hospital/level 2 or higher experience.

• Able to work in fast paced OR.

Shift & Scheduling: Monday-Friday. Stay late shifts 1-2 per week, this time is not considered Call Back, just an extension of their core shift. 1 weekend of call every 6 weeks in addition to 1 day per week.

Floating Requirements: May float to SMCF or SU campuses in Fargo. Each are within 20 minutes of each other. Rare this will happen, but it cold if cases are low.
