Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Peri-Op experience.

ADN completion required

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a New Mexico license or compact license

Additional Details:

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend cadence: As Needed On-Call / Call Back: As Needed

Required Skills/Experience: This position is for a charge nurse, candidates must have qualified charge experience (ideally 3-5 years). Two (2) years current experience required in a small PACU and have Pre-Op experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Preceptor preferred. EPIC experience; can train on-site.

Required Credentials: BLS ACLS certification completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross. Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN).

Floating Requirements: Floating between departments and or local locations within 20 miles is required.
