Additional Details:
All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years
Required Skills/Experience: LTAC Experience. Skills: Respiratory, Oxygen administration, IV Therapy/Medication, Peripheral line care, Isolation Precautions/PPE.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience.
Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past. ID: Drivers License/State ID, Government-Issued Photo ID. Cert: BLS - Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation only.
Unit/Facility Details: Parking Cost: Parking is free. If traveler accepts hospital provided housing or rental car, they are not eligible for housing or rental car stipends.
Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission.
Shift & Scheduling: Assignment Length: 26 or 13 Weeks - traveler's choice. Variable (traveler will work either straight days or straight nights, but the exact shift will not be known until closer to the start date and based on current staffing needs at that time). Weekend req: Yes - every other weekend.
Floating Requirements: Candidates will float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals near by
