Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 12 months of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit experience.
3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

BLS (Required)
Vaccinations

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience Must have recent experience with trachs and vents (hard stop)

Types of Patients on Unit: Patient populations include neurosurgical, general surgical, trauma, and medical/respiratory patients.

Equipment Used on Unit: Equipment used: oscillators, ICP monitoring, EVDs, and CRRT. May be potential to have code phone (training provided).

Unit/Facility Details: 44 bed

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Surgical/trauma/medical pediatric critical care unit caring for a variety of ages from neonate through young adult.

Teaching hospital, may have students.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend (Fri/Sat/Sun) rotation

Holidays: if needed

Floating Requirements: Float first to all inpatient units including critical care, NICU and Acute Care
