Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Operating Room experience.

BSN completion preferred

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

License

Candidates must have a New Jersey license or compact license

Vaccinations

Additional Details:

Failed fit tests due to facial hair and the inability to shave automatically disqualifies clinician from proceeding.

Shift & Scheduling: No on call. No weekend requirement at this time. No holiday requirement.

Special Requests: No Block Scheduling requests

Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to Scrub and Circulate. Experience in a variety of cases is needed: General OR, joint, spine, robotics , vascular (high acuity), plastics, ENT, GU, Kidneys.

Types of Patients on Unit: Primarily responsible for applying the nursing process to the care of veteran patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room. Patient population is anywhere up to 40 cases from 7:30am-11:00 pm. Per day.
