Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience within the past 4 years.
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Minnesota license

Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Must take full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society location as well. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.

Required Skills/Experience: Post Partum and PEDS

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Care for postpartum, stable antepartum, pediatric patients, newborns, GYN, Med-Surg overflow and may be 2nd RN in our SCN .

Equipment Used on Unit: Acudose, Philips Vitals Machines, Bladder Scanner, Medula Breast Pumps, Responder 5 Call light system, Medfusion Pumps.

Unit/Facility Details:

  • Nurse to patient ratio of this unit: 1:3 mom/baby couplets, 1:5 GYN/Med-Surge patients, 1:3-4 pediatrics

Shift & Scheduling: 12 hr D/N rotate. Every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays.

Floating Requirements: Must be willing to float to Med-Surg & Tele.
