Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required from last 3 months.

12 months of Acute Care Float Pool experience is required from last 3 months.

Experience with Epic is required from last 2 years.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a New York license

BLS (Required)

CMSRN (Preferred)

Vaccinations

Additional Details:

M/S Tele Resource Pool - Required

Assignment for 16-26 weeks

Every other weekend - Required

M/S Tele is expected to work ED hold patients as well

Required:

Epic experience from within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable

Monday - Sunday

Bi-weekly Orientations on Monday

No block schedules for any reason

Public Transportation is not accessible in this area, please ensure you have reliable transportation, personal vehicle or rental vehicle are strongly recommended

Vehicles should be equipped with all season or snow tires during the months of November – April

Patient Ratio: R5: 1/4, R6: 1/4, R7 1/5 (adjustments can be made)

Dress Code: Scrubs - Navy Blue & White, Solid colors in any combination. Shoes: Comfortable

Call Requirements: No

Holiday Requirements: As scheduled

Patient Population: R5: Med Surg Oncology, R6: Med Surg Ortho R7: Med Surg Urology ALC)

Age Range: 25-99

M/S Tele could include working in ECC/ER for ED HOLD patients
