Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience.

BSN completion preferred

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Experience with Alaris is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: Dysrhythmia exam needed (Study guide available in Simplify Library) Ortho experience required

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend/major holiday required

Floating Requirements: Must be willing to float to other MS/Tele (Oncology) unit

Unit Details: Fast paced unit, one day discharge, will receive admissions on night shift Hercules beds

Types of Patients on Unit: Patient Pop: Adults and Geriatrics -18+, lots of spine

Ratios are never guaranteed but what the unit attempts to achieve with normal staffing. Ratios are subject to change based on staffing
