Requirements

Experience

12 months of acute care experience.

12 months of role experience is required from last 12 months.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Previous Employment Requirements: Any employment gaps greater than 90 days must be explained.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Being able to intubate is a plus. 1 - 3 years of experience.

Required Credentials: RT or RCP License in state of employment required-LOUISIANA. RRT or CRT.

Unit/Facility Details: Level three NICU. Needs to be able to work independently in the NICU and needs to have knowledge with ventilators, oscillations, nitric oxide therapy, drawing from arterial lines. Therapists attend all c-sections. St. Patrick Hospital is adult ICU - needs knowledge of ventilators and cardiac surgery patients. Both facilities have full standing ER. Permanent is an option if there is an opening.

Shift & Scheduling: 7AM-7PM. Potential to be scheduled on a weekend.

Floating Requirements: Will float between Lake Charles and St Patrick facility. The schedule changes to 6AM-6PM.
