Previous perm staff must be gone for 2 years before they are eligible to return in a traveler capacity. No exceptions.
Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.
If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.
LPNs only: Must have previously worked on at least (1) a travel assignment with Trusted and have a reference from that assignment
Roles requiring a state licensure only: Cannot have any licensure hits.
Experience with peripheral artery bypass, AAA repair, carotid endarterectomies, fistula creation, amputations, and endovascular surgery (EVAR, TCAR, TAG) is required.
Call requirement: Will have one night of call per week and 1 weekend of call per month.
Holiday requirement: Traveler will be inserted into holiday call as needed
Mandatory call: Yes, Call response time-30 min
Unit Orientation: 1 week
Floating Requirements: May need to float within other services of HVI
Must have experience in Cardiac, Thoracic, or Vascular surgery.
14-16 cases per day
Previous travelers there for 1 full year must be gone for 2 years.
Experience with sedation is preferred. They are covering thoracic as well right now, so that experience is helpful.
Knowledge of open vascular and endovascular is required.
The role also requires the RN to circulate and sedate.
Preferably vascular experience, general surgery may be in the background (some hospitals put vascular in general OR).
