Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Preferred 12 months of Psychiatric Unit experience within the past 12 months.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

BLS (Required)

Vaccinations

Behavioral Health

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience: Behavioral Health Experience, medical/surgical background

Preferred Skills/Experience: Prefer at least 1-2 year (years in specialty)

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Medication passing, cares, documentation, mileau management

Unit/Facility Details: # of beds 11 Bed/ Max capacity is 8

Special Requests: Can submit with a block scheduling request - The facility will always try and honor, but never guarantee.

Shift & Scheduling: Mix of 8hr & 12hr

Weekend Rotation Requirements: Every other weekend

Holiday Rotation Requirements: holiday rotation

On call: Travelers can be placed on call during low census hours in which they will get on call pay.
