All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years
All previous perm employees of ANY Providence affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a min of 3 months to qualify for a travel position.

Patient Volume/Load: 5 ventilators 6-8 RVU's
Patient Age Group: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents (PREFERRED); Adults, Geriatrics (REQUIRED)
Work Setting Experience: ER, PICU (required); Adult ICU, NICU (required)
Respiratory Care Experience: High frequency oscillator, high risk deliveries (preferred); Airway management, medication administration, vent management, ABGs, 02 Therapy, suction, pulmonary toileting, bronchoscopes, nebulizer, BIPAP, CPAP, EKGs (required)
Ventilators: Draeger, Servo I (required)
Screen if no NICU experience
Call out if NO NRP
Scrubs: Any
Scheduling: Facility scheduling needs must be met; special requests (e.g., block scheduling, late starts) will not be accommodated.
BLS ACLS PALS Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation ONLY.
NRP Current certification issued by an acceptable agency - AAP, AHA or Canadian Paediatric Society (CPS).
