Requirements

Experience

18 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

24 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Illinois license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Preferred)

Additional Information

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Shift: 4x12 or 3x12s Nights (1845-0715)

Weekend REQ: Will work every third weekend

Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Will float to other Med Surg departments as needed Floating is 100% required of all travelers - Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospital/s near by

Special Requirements: Telemetry experience preferred. Required IV therapy/Phlebotomy Skills/Experience: PICC Line Management, Starting IVs. Cerner experience preferred.

Scrub Color: Any solid color

Parking Cost: parking permit required, no cost. Will fill out form during orientation.

Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics

Candidate must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.

Any PERM or PRN employee of Memorial must be away for 12 months before applying as a traveler
