Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 18 months of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Unit experience.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Hematology/Oncology experience. Pediatric experience required, at least 1.5 years. 1st time travelers accepted, must have at least 1 year of Pediatric experience to be considered.

Types of Patients on Unit: Peds Hem/Onc, Med Surg and All Pediatric specialties.

Unit/Facility Details: Bed Size: 14.

Special Requests: Winter holidays: Required to work 2 of 3 (Christmas, New Years, or Thanksgiving). Limit of 1 day request off between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26 for all travelers regardless of holidays worked.

Shift & Scheduling: No Call - Weekends: every 3rd weekend including holiday rotation.

Floating Requirements: May float to ED for inpatient holds. May float across NICU/B3 gen floor/PICU.
