Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

10 months of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Oklahoma license or compact license

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Call Required: Yes, 1 call day per 6 weeks

Float Required: Yes, to take care of newborns

Weekend Coverage: Every other

Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Infants

Daily Census: 30-40

Hospital does 2400 deliveries a year with 700-800 NICU admissions. We do not have pediatric surgery but keep all other NICU patients 22 weeks and above with conventional and high frequency ventilation. We do neonatal hypothermia cooling therapy.We staff by acuity. A typical team is 1:3-4 but with acuity we do 1:2 or 1:1.

RTO must be listed at time of submittal

Required: Drivers License/State ID

BLS must be AHA, RQI, ARC, or American Safety and Health Institute
