All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years
Cannot be currently or recently (within 6 months) employed with network - Must have left in good status, if former employee.
ER profiles must include the size of the facility / # beds and the Trauma Level designation (if any)
Orientation for all Oregon facilities is in Portland, OR for RN, LPN and CNAs.
Required Skills/Experience: Skills: Adult Home Health, Documentation Guidelines, Admission Assessment, Discharge/discharge due to safety or Non compliance, Recertification, Resumption of care, Routine visit, Start of Care, Integumentary, Wound care, Medication administration/management, Pain assessment & management, Utilization of pain scales (verbal, nonverbal), Medication Administration, Intradermal, Intramuscular, Intravenous infusions, Subcutaneous, Infection Control Precautions, Medication Assessment/Management, PCA pump management.
Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past. ID: Drivers License/State ID, Government-Issued Photo ID. Cert: BLS - Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation only.
Unit/Facility Details: Traveler is expected to have their own transportation. Parking Cost: Free.
Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission. RTO Restrictions: Confirm with hiring manager.
Shift & Scheduling: This facility cannot accommodate 4x10s or 3x12s. Please call out if traveler does not have Oasis Experience.
Floating Requirements: Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
