Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of travel experience is required from last 3 years.

12 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required from the last 3 years

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.

Requires at least one year of Level 1 Trauma experience within the last 3 years.

Hours per week: 36 (except for orientation week)

Shift: Days/Nights rotating; All shifts will be rotating(days, evenings, nights).

Call and weekends required - Call can be weekday and/or weekend. Weekends can be Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

Call response time: 30 min - We do have in-house call rooms for people to utilize if needed

Minimum 2 years of the last 3 in OR (really wants 3)

Scrub: need to scrub all cases below Strong (3 or 4) in the following: General, Ortho, Neuro, Vascular, Trauma, Robotics, Transplant

Must be certified with NBSTSA or NCCT (cannot accept other types or uncertified candidates)

Notes: offers need to be responded to with an acceptance or a decline within 48 hours or they will be pulled. Time off will not be added/altered once an offer is accepted.
