Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is required from any number of months.
Must have at least 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience.
Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe.

Skills: Accessing/Managing Ports, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, Assist with management of CPAP, Fresh tracheostomy, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Pulmonary edema, Pulmonary embolism, Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), eICU (Electronic Intensive Care Unit), Hyperbaric ICU, Neuro Intensive Care Unit, Trauma Intensive Care Unit, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Epicardial Pacing Wire Care and Management, Post Cardiac Surgery (Not directly from the OR), Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention, Sheath Removal, Transcatheter Aortic Valve implantation/Replacement (TAVI/TAVR), Valve Replacement/Repair, CVVHD/CRRT, Continuous IV paralytics/Neuromuscular blockade, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, Lumbar drains, Post Neurosurgery management, FloTrac/Vigileo monitoring, GI surgery, IV insulin protocols, Thermoregulation: hypothermia/hyperthermia.

Unit/Facility Details: Parking Cost: Monthly parking passes available. Travelers can reach out to Public Safety for parking passed and speak with them about what is available. Security and Parking: 314-362-0750.

Special Requests: RTO must be on the submittal and cannot be changed once the profile has been sent to the manager for review. No RTO the first week of an assignment.

Shift & Scheduling: Will accept 13 or 26 weeks and 36 or 48 hours per week. Weekend req: Every other.

Floating Requirements: Will float within service line to ICU units. Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospitals near by.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
