Travel Nurse (RN) - Step Down Unit

Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.

If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.

Roles requiring a state licensure only: Cannot have any licensure hits

Shift & Scheduling: Weekends and holidays as scheduled. 3 - 4 S days (Sat and Sun), 2 Fridays, and 2 Mondays in a 4-week schedule period for the nightshift position. Holiday Requirements- An eve and a day. (Black Friday or Thanksgiving, Christmas eve or Christmas day, New Years Eve or New Years Days)

Required Skills/Experience: RNs required to titrate drips

Preferred Skills/Experience: Cardiac experience would be preferred

Types of Patients on Unit: Cardiology, heart failure, cardiac surgery, medicine and hospitalist (med-surg)

Unit/Facility Details: 32 beds total. 22 stepdown beds and 10 floor beds. 32 beds total. 22 stepdown beds and 10 floor beds.

Previous Employment Requirements: Previous perm staff must be gone for 2 years before they are eligible to return in a traveler capacity. No exceptions.

Floating Requirements: Traveler would be the first to be pulled off the unit if needed. Rotational pull to the floor assignment (pull log dates kept by charge nurses). The pull to the floor assignment is typically 1 out of the 3 shifts.
