Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

24 months of Cardiovascular Operating Room experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Tennessee license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Declinations not accepted.

COVID booster required. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Shift Details Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday

Call: Required for all travelers in cardiac surgery

Note: Days will vary depending on unit needs; block scheduling not offered

Call Distribution: Fair and shared with staff

Trauma Level: Level 1 Trauma Center

Children’s OR: Separate from main OR (no peds)

Float: Could float between ORs, but not between different locations

Experience Requirements Minimum 2 years CVOR OR RN experience

Preferred: RNs who can scrub cardiac surgeries
