Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience within the past 3 years.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a West Virginia license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Flu vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Experience with ortho patients & PCA Pumps

Required Credentials: If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.

LPNs only: Must have previously worked on at least (1) a travel assignment with Trusted and have a reference from that assignment

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Special Requests: Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.

Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: cumulative experience applies for previous travelers.

Shift & Scheduling: Every-other-weekend. Days are Sat/Sun

Holiday Requirement Holidays will depend on the needs of the unit. If they don't have enough perm staff to cover holidays, travelers would be expected to work holidays.

Call or standby requirement: Depending on their contract they could be called off for low census

Floating Requirements: Travelers are the 1st to float. Floating is required to any MedSurg units. If floated to Tele they would be assigned patients w/ in skillset.
