Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Psychiatric Unit experience within the past 12 months.

Experience with Health Care Systems Inc (HCS) is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Colorado license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities. Deescalation skills

Preferred Skillset/Experience: Behavioral health, Medical or dual diagnosis experience, able to do CIWA, COWS.

Unit/Facility Details: Number of Beds: 96 bed hospital, 4 units of 20-26 patients

Patient Ratios: roughly 1:12 on Adolescent, Adult Mental Wellness, & Adult Acute. 1:10 on Adult Dual Diagnosis/SUD

Types of Patients on Unit: Adolescents 13-17 year olds, then 3 units of adults 18+

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: average length of stay is 7-10 days, we are an acute stabilization behavioral health hospital

Shift & Scheduling: Call Requirements: we do call/text when someone calls off shift or there are shift openings
