Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
12 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.
Must have at least 24 months of Psychiatric Unit experience.
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Massachusetts license

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Proficient in using automatic medication dispensing system (Omni Cell); proficient in electronic health records documentation; proficient in the use of psychotropic medications and side effects; Able to assume the role of charge nurse; Able to complete admissions and discharges; Competent in the use of IV pumps; Competent in care of a diabetic patient.
Required Credentials: Certification in De-escalation.
Special Requests: No Block Scheduling for any Travelers at Salem.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Days/Eves/Nights Rotate & EOW
- No more than 2-3 shifts per time block and typically not for more than 1 or 2 time blocks (4 week blocks).
