Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

9 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license

Additional Details:

No block scheduling requests.

Must be able to start within 4-5 weeks to apply

Must have at least 9 months of same unit experience in the past 12 months, no exceptions.

· Patient Ratios – 3 couplets/1 nurse; L&D = 1:1 active labor/Pitocin/epidural

· Type of equipment – Corometrics

· EMR – Centricity Perinatal & Meditech

Preferred or nice to have:

· Cesarean section – circulator, 1st assist, scrub

Floating Area(s):

· Within the unit – nowhere else in the facility

Dress Code:

· We provide scrubs

Weekends and On call:

· 4 weekend shifts/4 week schedule: days are Saturday/Sunday; nights are Friday/Saturday

· No call requirement for travel staff, however, there may be opportunity for extra shifts
