Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

12 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Montana license or compact license

Certifications

Intermediate AWHONN FHM (Required)

NRP (Required)

BLS (Required)

Advanced AWHONN FHM (Preferred)

ACLS (Preferred)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Information

Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details:

Occasional call (not to exceed one shift per week)

Must be experienced in labor, delivery, and post partum care

RNs will be required to provide Couplet Care

Must have experience assisting with C-sections

Experience with high risk pregnancy preferred (unit cares for ante partum patients)

Floating is primarily within the service line (Pediatrics and NICU) but may be asked to float to any unit as a 1:1 safety sitter.

Weekend Coverage: Every Other

Orientation Hours: 24

Patient Age Groups: Infants, Adults

Daily Census: 10

Special Procedures/Unit Details:

A bonus is if they have additional experience in high risk pregnancy as we also care for ante partum patients.
Rarely would they float to Med Surg as helping hands unless they choose to take an assignment.

RTO: Required at time of submission

Background Policy to be noted prior to submission: Will accept License/BG Hits: approval on case-by-case basis

Return Staff Policy: 1 Year
