Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Operating Room experience within the past 3 years.

Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a Alaska license

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills and Experience: Moderate sedation and PACU experience highly preferred

Required Credentials: Graduation from accredited Nursing Program. A legible copy of a valid/current US Driver’s license or US ID card.

Shift & Scheduling Requirements: Call is required. Shifts are varied, but typically M-F 8am to 5pm, or 3 12 hour shifts 7am - 7:30pm, or 7:00pm to 7:30am, and on call night shifts

Unit and Facility Details: This position is for a Circulating RN who will be responsible for the delivery of care in the Peri-operative setting through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementing and evaluation of care for pediatric, adolescent, adult and older adults. May be asked to train other nurses.
