Requirements

Experience

36 months of role experience is required from last 3 months.

24 months of Operating Room experience is required from last 4 years.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a West Virginia license or compact license

Additional Details:

Nursing Outpatient Surgery

Previous perm staff must be gone for 2 years before they are eligible to return in a traveler capacity. No exceptions.

Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.

If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.

Roles requiring a state licensure only: Cannot have any licensure hits

Guaranteed Hours 40

Shift: Monday through Friday, up to 2 stay lates per week

May be asked to float to main OR if needed

Suites- 4

Common Cases- GI, Ophthalmology, ortho, podiatry, GYN, general, laparoscopic, plastic, Urology

Must be proficient in GI endoscopy cases

Scrubbing required - RN's- not required, would be helpful

Scrub Color/Dress Code- ceil blue- provided by facility
