Additional Details:
Must have at least 9 months of same unit experience in the past 12 months, no exceptions.
Patient Ratios – SD/ICU 2-4:1; Med-Surg: 5-6:1; 2-3 PCT on floor as appropriate.
Equipment used in unit: IV pumps, SCDs, Nova Stat glucometer, wound vac, Baxter feeding pump, Lift equipment as appropriate, Pyxis (nurses only).
Required Credentials: All RNs must have BLS, ACLS completed prior to end of orientation.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
RNs with ICU/Stepdown experience.
Staff with 1 year med/surg experience is preferred.
Unit Details: List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
·IV starts , CVL, Arterial lines
·Foley catheters
·EKG monitoring
·Wound care
Floating Area(s): TCU
Weekends and On call:
Weekend rotation, 3 Monday and Friday per 6 week scheduling. Holidays per staffing matrix.
