Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required from last 3 months.

24 months of Progressive Care Unit experience is required from last 3 months.

3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

NIHSS (Required)

ACLS (Preferred)

Additional Details:

Medical-Surgical Intermediate PCU

Cannot have any previous hits on licensure. Cannot have any of the following background hits: Domestic disputes or domestic violence (at any time), theft (within 5 years), DUIs (within 5 years), drug charges including marijuana (at any time), felony (at any time).

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Every other weekend

Float Requirements: Yes – Med Surg or PCU units

Must Have Skills/Experience: PCU experience, Cardiac gtts, telemetry

Preferred Skillset/Experience: BiPAP

Type of Patients on Unit: Stepdown mix

Scrub Color: Galaxy Blue top and black or galaxy blue bottoms
