Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 36 months of Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool experience.

BSN completion required

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Colorado license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Must have well-rounded in PICU, NICU, and Cardiac (CICU) Experience

Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience at free standing pediatric hospitals.

Types of Patients on Unit: Well-rounded experience in management of pediatric patient populations in PICU, NICU and Cardiac ICU.

Shift & Scheduling: Start dates: Will accept 1/6, 1/13 or 1/20 no later, Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend, Holiday Requirements: Yes, 50% of holidays during assignment NO DECEMBER or Holiday RTO

Floating Requirements: Critical Care Cohort: PICU, CICU, NICU, CPCU. May be assigned acute care units, Cardiac Progressive Care Unit, and Network of care (satellite) locations Med/Surg IP. Three locations are in the Denver Metro area within a 20 mile radius. May be assigned in Patient Safety Observation roles, serving as 1:1 observation as required by organizational needs.
