Required Skills/Experience:

Neuro, Ortho, Trauma, Kidney transplant experience required

Scrub and/or circulate general surgery, robotics, transplants, ortho, neuro, spine, ENT (primarily head & neck).

GYN, Urology, organ procurement, trauma.

Shift & Scheduling:

Shift could be either: 4-10H shifts (0700-1730), or 2-12 hour shifts and 2-8 hour shifts/week (0700-1530/0700-1930). Day shift - 13 weeks/40/week: 2-12s 7a-7:30p and 2-8s 0700-3:30p per week.

1st week – orientation.

Up to 2 weekends/month – either call (7a-7p, or 7p-7a on Sat/Sun/holidays) or working shifts.

Short call shift once or twice a week 3p-7p; or 3a-7a.

30 min on call response time.

4 weeks out for compliance.

Orientation is weekly (every Monday barring a holiday).

Floating Requirements:

Primarily based on the West Main campus but can be floated to east or CVI OR.

Holidays eligible to work: any while on contract.

Special Requests:

All RTO requests must be presented at time of submission

RTO must be approved.

Unit Details:

OR West consists of 10 operating rooms and focuses on Inpatient Level I Trauma Surgery.

The team cares for patients undergoing a wide variety of surgical procedures including bariatric, neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic trauma, spine, major plastic reconstruction, robotic surgery, and kidney and liver transplants.

Previous Employment Requirements:

Travelers who have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health as perm or per diem within the last six months will not be accepted - MUST be separated from facility for six months to be considered.
