No RTO will be approved during the following dates: Halloween Weekend: 10/30 - 11/3 Thanksgiving: 11/26 - 11/30 Christmas / New Year’s: 12/21 - 1/1
Shift & Scheduling:
- (Mon - Fri)
- Holiday Expectations: May be asked to assist with coverage of Thanksgiving or Christmas. All other holidays are staffed as normal working days
Required Skills/Experience:
- Acute care experience preferred-willing to take candidates w/o acute care experience if they are willing to be trained and learn
- Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes, with at least 2 years’ experience
Types of Patients on Unit: · Mostly General Med/Surg population and some ICU patients (6 ICU beds) · We treat the ED as any other med-surg unit. We do initial evaluations and then continue with treatment the next day if they have not been assigned to a room yet.
Unit Details: Patient Ratios: 8-10 per therapist, 15 units per day -· 3 days orientation in department
Equipment Used on Unit: Powerchart
Floating Requirements: Caseload may consist of any area within the hospital: general Med Surg, ICU, including ED
Holiday Expectations: One major and one minor seasonal holiday per policy
· Parking: Free, on site in front lot or parking decks
Required Credentials: Masters’ or Doctorate of Physical Therapy from an accredited program
