Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.
Must have at least 24 months of Operating Room experience.
BSN completion preferred
Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

Previous Employment Requirements: Return Staff Policy If a nurse has held previous employment with Medstar, must be gone for a minimum of 1 year to return as a traveler.

Required Skills/Experience: Will need to have general and GYN experience. Would like someone with the same size facility experience (14 room OR).

Preferred Skills/Experience: Bariatrics, Vascular, Thoracic, ENT, Endoscopic Procedures, General Surgery, Gynecology, Neurology and Ophthalmology. Teaching Hospital Experience. Trauma Level II Experience.

Unit/Facility Details: Number of Beds: 14.

Special Requests: RTO must be on the submittal and cannot be changed once the profile has been sent to the manager for review. No RTO the first two weeks of an assignment.

Shift & Scheduling: Must be available to work two out of the three holidays, including the days surrounding each holiday. Call required: 3 weeknights and 2 weekends in 6 weeks.
