Travel Nurse (RN) - Neurologic Intensive Care Unit

Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to read and interpret EKG strips.

Preferred Skills/Experience: 2 years in Neuro ICU.

Required Credentials: Prior to acceptance, the Dysrhythmia Exam (Basic) through UNA is required. It must be completed within 24–48 hours. The exam is pass/fail, and candidates are allowed two attempts (Test A should be assigned first, Test B for the retake). A screenshot showing the number of attempts is required. We can accept the Relias Basic Dysrhythmia Exam taken within the last 12 months if the traveler has previously completed it. If the traveler fails the second attempt, they will be designated DNU for CommonSpirit AZ and Sac.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other weekend.

• Holidays: Rotate in with core staff.

• Shift starts 645.

• Self-scheduling is used, but is not finalized until Manager balances it. Schedules are out 4 weeks.

Floating Requirements: First to Float. All other Sacramento facilities. Mid-shift float to another facility is rare, but can happen.
