Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.

Experience with Allscripts/Eclipsys is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Illinois license

NIHSS (Required)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills / Experience: Must have total joint experience

Understanding of PCA pumps, reversal drugs (narcan), sepsis management

Experience with TPN/ Lipids, Narcotic usage

1 year of experience - surgical experience

Special Requests: References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Discuss with leader for any scheduling needs. Schedules out 6 weeks in advance.

Shift & Scheduling: Will not guarantee block scheduling

Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend. Sat. Sun for both shifts.

Holiday Requirements: In the holiday rotation with core staff
