Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Substance Abuse 2

Nurses Only - BMC does not have telemetry technicians. Candidates are required to take and pass an advanced Dysrhythmia exam after an offer is extended and before accepting. 3 attempts to pass. Passing score is an 80% or the minimum of the angoff score. Will accept a previously completed exam if it's within 1 year of start date. Will also take a tele test day 1 of orientation.

Prefer 1 reference from last travel assignment. Supervisor title not accepted.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekends/ Every other Holiday, No Call

Required Skills/Experience: 2+ years Medical Surgical experience and experience with addictions . PCC experience

Required Credentials: Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips and pass Tele exam on day 1 with 84% or better

Unit Details: Substance use Disorder Unit 14 bed medical detox unit. During the day an open milieu with groups and counseling sessions.
