Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license

CPI (Preferred)

Vaccinations

Additional Details:

The secured unit features enhanced safety features including whole-unit video monitoring, ligature alarms, anti-barricade doors, and a badge-secured entrance.

Every other weekend, we can also discuss 36 or 48 hours/week during interview.

First time traveler OK.

Trauma Level I Experience: Preferred.

Patient Age Groups: Adults

Interdisciplinary Support: IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation, Unit Secretary

Patient Diagnoses: ETOH/Drug Withdrawal Delirium Overdose Altered Mental Status

Special Procedures/Unit Details: Secured Unit 24 patient beds - large census of at risk behavioral patients on unit. Charge nurse & supervisor on every shift

Special Equipment: Anti-barricade doors Video Monitoring

RTO must be included at time of submittal or will not be approved- No exceptions.

Must have at least 2 years of experience and 1 year in the specialty being submitted for unless stated otherwise in job description.

MS may float to MS/Tele.
