Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

12 months of Physical Therapy experience is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

PT Acute Care

Shift: Monday - Friday

Guaranteed Hours: 40

Weekend Requirements: Occasional, shift is 8-430

Holiday Requirements: No holidays, in lieu of holiday, traveler would work a weekend shift to meet hours

Must have acute care experience - Level 1 OR Large hospital

Experience in a trauma center and academic center is preferred

At least 6 months of acute care experience (licensed, outside of school) required

Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Acute care, ICU, facility sees: transplant cardiac trauma internal med neuro, adult ED, PACU, same day surgery center - if they don't have all of this experience then that is ok, but if they have some or most that is helpful

Acute Inpatient

Areas required to cover: All 5 ICU's, all acute care inpatient beds, transplant cardiac trauma internal med neuro, adult ED, PACU, same day surgery center

Department specific orientation: All computer based, including hospital orientation and department orientation, 1 day of computer and then go out with staff for floor based- probably 2 weeks following another staff member.

Scrub Color/Dress Code: Royal blue or grey, solid colors
