Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Intermediate Care Unit experience.

Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

Vaccinations

Additional Details:

Shift & Scheduling: Day/Night variables is 7a-730p, 7p-730a. No on call. Every other weekend and holiday .

Special Request Can submit with a block scheduling request - The facility will always try and honor, but never guarantee.

Floating Requirements: AWH all inpatient units, as needed. Typically will float to higher acuity units

Required Skills/Experience: 2+ years experience required- firm on this Stepdown/ Intermediate/PCU experience required. Ventilator/Trach experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience: ICU experience.

Unit Details: 36 beds Med Surg Intermediate Care unit.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Heavy Tele. Stable, weaning Vents/Trach, sepsis, trauma alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, Ortho Trauma, spinal cord injury and Stroke.

Required Credentials: Associates Degree or certificate.
