Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required from last 3 months.

3 months of travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

12 months of Progressive Care Unit experience is required from last 12 months.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license

Additional Details:

No guaranteed hours

Shift: Rotating 7A/7P

Weekend: Every other weekend

Holiday: Holidays as needed

Availability on call: (2) call shifts per schedule per 6 week grid

Float: Float as needed within scope

The MPCU is a 21-bed medical step-down unit primarily serving the following patient populations: sepsis, respiratory failure, GI bleed, liver failure, DKA.

Required: dysrhythmia management; IMC/PCU experience

RN will need experience with high acuity patients.

Must have current experience with patients on ventilators a-lines, drip titration, high flow nasal canula, tracheostomies, g-tubes.
