Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 22 months of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience.

24 months of Trauma Level 4 facility is required from any number of months

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

2 years of recent Level 3 or 4 NICU or PICU experience.
Skills: Adult Critical Care, Emergency Department, Aerosol set up mask, Aerosol set up trach, Medihaler, Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI), Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Flovent, Inhaled steroids, Isuprel, Lidocaine, Perforomist, Pulmicort, Racemic epinephrine, Spiriva, Terbutaline Sulfate, Theophylline, Tobramycin, Xopenex, Umbilical blood gases, BiPAP, CPAP, High frequency oscillator, Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation, Extubation, Nasal airway placement, Nasal airway suctioning, Oral airway placement, Oral/nasal Suctioning, Sputum specimen collection, Tracheostomy care/management, Hand held, T-piece, Trach collar, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Strongly desire someone with all levels of experience Level 3 NICU/PICU/ Adult ICU experience.
Skills: Bicarbonate, Inhaled Flolan, Ketamine, Mucomyst, Nitric Oxide (INo), Assist in high risk delivery, High frequency jet ventilator, Bronchoscopy
Experience with Puritan Bennett, Draeger, Servo I.

Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

Weekend REQ: Yes
Assignment Length: 26 or 13 weeks

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years
