Shift Requirements: variable pm/nights

Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend. Every other holiday. 

Float Requirements: Float to all inpatient units as needed

Specialty Floats: ICU, Medical-Surgical, Medical Surgical / Telemetry, Intermediate Care

Unit Information: 44 Bed Intermediate cardiac stepdown. Fast paced, high patient turnover. Post op CABG/Valve, thoracotomy, Vascular, Arrhythmia, CHF, Post procedure Cath, pacer, defib, ablations, Acute CP/MI, med/surg overflow i.e. detox, DKA, COPD exac, resp failure, Fem Pop Bypass.

Required Education: Associate Degree or Certificate

Minimum Experience: Must have 1 year strong Cardiac experience (Cardiac SDU/Intermediate Cardiac/Cardiac ICU) & 2 years IMC/PCU/Tele experience required.

Candidates cannot move forward in the interview process without experience without Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro Drips.

Required Certifications: Must be able to pass EKG test 1st week of hire.
