Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Cardiovascular Operating Room experience.

BSN completion preferred

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license

ACLS (Preferred)

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

Required Skills/Experience: CVOR experience. Open heart surgery or experience. Must be able to scrub. Skills: Vascular, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Arteriovenous fistula repair, Carotid angioplasty, Carotid artery stenting, Carotid Endarterectomy, Femoral popliteal bypass graft, Cardiovascular, Aortic Aneurysm repair, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), MAZE Procedure, Mitral valve replacement, Scrub Cardiovascular Surgery, TAVR (Transaortic Valve Replacement), Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD/RVAD), CVOR, Thoracic, Lobe resection, Thoracotomy, VATS (Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery).

Required Credentials: ID: Drivers License/State ID, Government-Issued Photo ID.

Special Requests: RTO must be on the submittal and cannot be changed once the profile has been sent to the manager for review. No RTO the first two weeks of an assignment.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend call required - 4 shifts per 6-week schedule.
