Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

36 months of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Alaska license

Additional Details:

1 Bedroom housing at Wedgewood Manor is provided. No pets are allowed.

Transportation is not provided and walking is not recommended in winter. You will need to secure a vehicle for transportation.

Must be able to care for level 2 NICU acuity patients, admit NICU patients, and resuscitate newborns. Preferred to be able to attend deliveries.

Weekend Requirements: 5 shifts in a 6 week schedule

On-Call Requirements: Voluntary call if necessary for staffing

Holiday Requirements: per unit needs

RTO needs to be requested at time of submittal. Will need to work shifts around time off or add time to the contract if taking off 5+ days within a work week.
