Travel Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Required skills and experience: Must have experience with our patient populations and high acuity, we are the tertiary care center for MCHS. All our nurses take care of POD 1 heart patients, immediate postop heart patients cared for 1:1 by specifically trained nurses. RNs required to titrate drips. RNs monitor own patients telemetry. RNs read and document their patient rhythm strips.

Preferred skills and experience: CRRT, IABP, Impella, and ECMO experience are not required but certainly desired/helpful.

Shift & schedule requirements: Will discuss in the interview preference of more days than nights or nights than days. Every other weekend and holiday. Call or standby requirement: Only during scheduled shift if low census (per agency allowed hours).

Floating requirements: If not needed in SICU for a scheduled shift, able to staff in MICU. If not needed in either SICU or MICU, able to be patient observer within hospital (ex. Suicide direct observation or bipap safety, etc.).
