Requirements

Experience

18 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

Must have at least 18 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience.

Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Illinois license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Preferred)

Vaccinations

Flu vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills / Experience: IV therapy/Phlebotomy: PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs

Preferred Skills / Experience: Work Experience: Telemetry

Unit / Facility Details: Parking Cost: Parking permit required, no cost. Will fill out form during orientation

Proof of Identification: Drivers License/State ID

Special Requests: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Shift & Scheduling: 4x12 or 3x12

Will work every other weekend

No Call Requirement

Floating Requirement: Will float to other Med Surg departments as needed
